Eriba Holiday Experience Coming Soon at Powmill Caravan Site

The Eriba caravans have a large cult following. They offer very comfortable but compact living. The Eriba Troll is the largest Eriba produced offering comfortable accommodation for two small / medium sized adults. The caravan is situated beside our main caravan site allowing full access to the full site facilities including toilet and shower.

Rent our retro Eriba Troll caravan for your holiday experience at Powmill Caravan Site. The Caravan is fully equipped with all utensil. Just take you own Sleeping Bags / Bedding and towels. The Eriba has been tastefully renovated and has a double bed, hot and cold water system, electric lighting, microwave, three ring gas hob, electric / gas heating and a TV. Pricing Information
Price for two adults / couple (max occupancy) will be £60 / night with a minimum 5 night stay. Bedding and towels can be provided for an additional £35 / stay. Booking deposit of £50 is required which will be repaid via BACS after your departure providing no damage has be caused to the caravan.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE

Please read these carefully, they contain details of the contract between the hirer (you) and the owners (us). Once we have received your £50 booking fee, you, the hirer have agreed to the full terms and conditions, as stated below, and as applicable at the time of your booking and holiday.

Important information.

We do not provide the following;

Bed linen / can be hired additionally for £35 per stay

Towels

We do provide;

Essential cooking equiptment

Pots pans / dinnerware / glass wear / cutlery etc

Terms and conditions of booking

To ensure an enjoyable holiday for everyone we request that comply with the following guidelines;

Deposits and Payment.

1. A provisional booking will be accepted, subject to receiving a £50 booking fee within 3 working days, this should be paid by Credit/Debit card, Paypal, or bank transfer to account;

If using Bank transfer you MUST include the booking number as the payment reference.

You must also provide us with the names of the people that are to be on the booking form. 

Upon receiving the booking fee, you’ll receive confirmation for the dates that you have booked. This will secure your booking and act as a security bond. This does not deduct from the hire charge. 

DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION.

2. If the booking fee is not received within 3 working days it will be assumed by that the provisional booking is no longer required.

3. THE BALANCE OF THE HIRE CHARGE IS DUE 28 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, if the balance is NOT received within this time frame, then we reserve the right to hire the caravan to someone else. Bookings taken with less than 4 weeks remaining can only be accepted if payment is made in full and received within 3 working days.

4. The bond is fully refundable at the end of the hire period and returned within seven days of departure date. ( You must provide us with a sort code and account number for us to do this) We, the caravan owners reserve the right to withhold some or the entire bond and /or bill the hirer for the additional cost of: a) replacing and/or repairing all damage b) all breakages and loss ( including keys) c) charge for cleaning the caravan (the caravan should be cleaned and left on departure as found with all rubbish removed) d) Any time period the property is occupied outside of the contacted arrival and departure times and the further information as set out in the terms and conditions.

ALL BREAKAGES, DAMAGE AND STAINS WITHIN THE CARAVAN MUST BE PAID FOR!

THE HIRER MUST INFORM THE CARAVAN OWNERS BEFORE 8PM ON THE DAY OF ARRIVAL OF ALL DEFECTS AND/ OR BREAKAGES. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN YOU, THE HIRER BEING RESPONSIBLE. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE CARAVAN ON ARRIVAL

CANCELLATIONS

5. In the event of a cancellation, the hirer must confirm this in writing. ( Booking fees are not refundable in the event of a cancellation.). In the event of a park closure we will rebook your holiday at a date of your choosing, where available. 

6. No refund will be made to the hirer whose hiring has commenced and who vacates the caravan for any reason including an emergency at home.

7. If you cancel/change your holiday, the following penalties will apply:

Cancellation/change up to 60 days before arrival – refund of total cost of holiday less booking fee paid.

Cancellation/change between 59-46 days of arrival – 50% of total cost of holiday will be refunded less booking fee paid.

Cancellation/change within 45 days of arrival – no refund will be given..

No refund will be given due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. weather, sickness, park closures. No refunds can be given if guests depart prior to the end of the booked/paid holiday.

If anything were to change with regards to your holiday, we will be in contact with you directly. If we can no longer offer the holiday booked or we need to cancel your booking the following options are available as featured within our terms and conditions:

· A replacement holiday that’s the same as the one you booked;

· A replacement holiday of less value than the one you booked, together with a payment of the difference by us;

A replacement holiday of higher value than the one you booked, with a payment of the difference by yourself

GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS

8. The caravan is subject to a sublet license and our insurance, we strictly permit a maximum of 2 people. Anyone found breaking this rule will be removed from the site. Only the applicants listed on the booking form shall be entitled to occupy the accommodation. Due to the nature to the park we only accept couples and the lead name of the booking must be aged 25 or over. Any breach of this condition will entitle us to terminate the booking, and to exclude from the park both the applicants and the unauthorised persons. No responsibility will be taken by us, the owners, if this happens.

9. Only the persons on the booking form may stay at the caravan. Over Occupancy will not be tolerated and we will ask you to vacate the caravan.

10. ALL changes to a booking must be made in writing and will be at our discretion.

11. The hirer is responsible for the conduct of all listed on the booking form.

13. The hirer agrees that all persons named on the booking form shall be with you (the hirer) during your hire period of the holiday caravan.

14. The hirer shall notify us in writing with any changes to person(s) listed on the booking form at the earliest possible opportunity and in any event, prior to arrival.

15. The hirer must give access to the holiday caravan as/when required to us if required during your stay.

16. We do not provide bed linen, although it can be hired additionally from us. We do require you to use bed linen or sleeping bags on the mattress. We expect no markings / stains on the caravan seats. Replacement or cleaning of these items will result in the relevant loss of your bond.

17. We do not allow commercial vehicles, i.e. transit vans and flatbed vehicles on site at any time.

UPON COMMENCEMENT OF HIRE

18.The holiday caravan maybe occupied from the following times, from the first day of hire;

Check in time 3:00pm ~ Check out time 10:00am

Early check in / late check out may be available when you place your booking.

Keys will be handed to you on arrival. Loss of keys, then rule 4 will apply.

19. In the case of a maintenance problem, the hirer shall contact the owner, us, directly. D.I.Y repairs must NOT be attempted. If the hirer does any D.I.Y repairs, then rule 4 will apply.

20.Smoking / Vapping is NOT permitted in the caravan OR on the decking area around the caravan.

21. The caravan is to be left in a clean and tidy condition, as it was found on arrival, ready for the next tenants, if not, then rule 4 will apply. This extends to the cleaning the bathroom and kitchen areas and ensuring the decking area furniture is returned to its proper location, and the area is free from rubbish. Dirty bed linen that has been hired should be stripped and placed inside the pillow case and left in the caravan for collection. You will need to supply your own cleaning materials if there are none available.

22. The holiday caravan MUST be vacated by 10am on the last day of hiring, ready for cleaner to check over.

23. No inside furniture / chairs/ cushions / bedding must be taken outside. Please use the provided pitch furniture.

24. Not permited in the caravans

NO BALL GAMES
NO CANDLES OR NAKED FLAMES

NO BANNERS or BALLOONS to be put up with CELLOTAPE / BLUE TAC ETC

NO CLIMBING OUT OF THE WINDOWS UNLESS IN A EMERGENCY

NO make up to applied on or over the bedding soft furnishings or carpets

NO false tan or hair colour to be applied in the Caravan
NO SMOKING / VAPING
NO PETS

This list is not exhaustive please ensure there’s no marks or damage within the caravan areas.

Please mind the blinds and net curtains, they get tangled / bent in open windows and doors. Make sure they’re tied / put away before opening doors and windows.

Any marks or stains that cannot be removed from bedding or soft furnishings will be deducted out your deposit.

BEHAVIOUR

25.You must show consideration to your neighbours and other guests. Refrain from using loud music after 8pm. We reserve the right to ask guests who contravene our terms and conditions, or who in any other way are behaving in a manner likely to cause distress or nuisance to other visitors, to leave immediately. In these circumstances the holiday ceases and we shall not be liable for any extra costs incurred by you. In order to protect our other guests, anyone found to have infectious and contagious diseases or such like will be requested to leave.

You will act in a courteous and considerate manner towards us and other guests.

You further agree that you will not:

a) Commit any criminal offence at the park or undertake any criminal activity.

b) Commit any acts of vandalism or nuisance.

c) Keep or carry any firearm or any other weapon at the park.

d) Use any unlawful drugs.

e) Create any undue noise or disturbance.

f) Carry out any trade or business while on the park

PLEASE NOTE

Once we have received your £50 booking fee, you, the hirer has agreed to the full terms and conditions, as above, as applicable at the time of your booking and holiday.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights under Scottish law.
